CFRC broadcasts the Vanier Cup!

This Saturday, November 28 at 11am, CFRC 101.9fm  is proud to broadcast the 45th Annual Desjardins Vanier Cup, live from Quebec City.  The Queen’s Gaels take on the Calgary Dinos for the national university football championship.  The Gaels advanced to the final with a thrilling 33-30 victory over the defending Vanier Cup Champions Laval Rouge-Et-Or at Richardson Stadium last Saturday.  Calgary defeated St. Mary’s 38-14 in the U-Teck Bowl.  The two teams last met in the 1983 final, when Calgary beat Queen’s 31-21.  Tune in to CFRC and cheer on Queen’s as they go for their first national championship since 1992.  Brendan McNamara has the pre-game starting at 11.  Matthew Bisson and Mike Cotton will be up in the booth at PEPS Stadium to bring you all of the action, with the kick-off at noon!
