Into the Magic Soundbox
CFRC 101.9FM is proud to present the final installment of its “Into the Magic Soundbox” performance series for the 2008-2009 season on Friday, June 19, with two live shows at the Upper Canada Academy of the Performing Arts, 260 Brock St.
Presented in concert with the Skeleton Park Music festival, the ultimate Soundbox will feature local performers False Face, the House is Black, Hawkward and TimKnightUs. Join us as these artists pluck, pick and weave through a silk-spun web of quiet stories, braiding together conversations with local community members (our “surprise guests”).
Performances will take place at 7:30 and 10pm and are open to all ages. Admission is free. Into the Magic Soundbox is made possible through the generous support of the Kingston Arts Council through the City of Kingston Arts Fund.
